Chamdo [CCINFO] - The people of Chamdo today honored the sacrifice of Beatrix James, a native of the Capellan Confederation, who gave her life in the successful defense of Chamdo from the Word of Blake forces. Ten years ago to this day, James, a member of the mercenary group known as the Flaming Devil Monkeys, single-handedly evicted the Word of Blake forces from the local HPG station, sparking a rebellion that soon liberated all of Chamdo. In the final moments of the clash, James died from feedback due to multiple ammunition explosions on her mech. She is honored today with a statue that will stand at the entrance to the new HPG station on planet.

The Monkey’s goal is to destroy the HPG station on Chamdo. It is defended by Word of Blake forces and auxiliary mercenary units.
After-Action Report
The approach to the HPG station involved heavy and fierce urban fighting that left an entire district of Chamdo’s capital city in ruins. The Monkeys were able to beat back the wobbie forces however and completed their mission. Afterwards, they learned that their contract had come from the people’s government of Chamdo themselves who would do anything to remove the blakist influence from their planet, even if that apparently meant going dark.
The mission ended in personal tragedy for the Monkeys. As they were cleaning up a few remaining forces near the HPG, a lucky shot cooked off most of Trix’s ammo bins and she died from the resulting feedback. She was honored by the people of Chamdo for her sacrifice.
