Cittaprabha Chittibabu is a native of Terra, where his family had a long history of service in the Comguards, mostly in the infantry. Chittibabu assumed that he too was destined to life as an infantry grunt, but was surprised when his aptitude test suggested that he might qualify to be an aerospace pilot.

Cittibabu was training at the Titan shipyards when Terra fell to the Blakists. He was called into action to defend the station and fought well in Comstar’s only victory. Although he wished for nothing more than to bring the fight back to the Blakists, he was instead transferred to Tukkayid to complete his training. After training he rose in the ranks to eventually command a Level II of aerospace fighters. He was elated by the decision to take back Terra in Case White. His dream of returning into Terra turned into a nightmare, however. Outnumbered, his entire unit was blown apart around him and he was only just barely able to dock with the Vision of Truth before it jumped out of system. Seriously injured in the attack, he was out for nearly a year with reconstructive surgery.

Disillusioned and devastated by the loss of his unit, he left Comstar and drifted. It wasn’t until he heard about Devlin Stone’s exploits that he began to hope to see Terra again. Arriving on Arc-Royal to join the coalition, Chittibabu found himself directed toward an allied mercenary group named the Flaming Devil Monkeys. Happy to join any unit going after the Blakists, he joined immediately.
