Keshav was a Nova Cat warrior with a solid but unremarkable career. He fought in the original clan invasion and Tukkayid as a young warrior. After the invasion, he earned a position as a Star Commander but never earned a bloodname or advanced any further. He was, however, known as a spiritual leader within the Nova Cats, and many would seek him out as a seer and mentor. He even spent time in a Cloud Cobra cloister for several years, rising to a position of leadership before returning to the Nova Cats when they were abjured.

As he began to approach old age within the clan, Keshav was assigned to a position with one of the local PGCs, where he was treated as an honored elder. When the Nova Cats made plans to strike at Luthien in force, Keshav desired to join his clanmates in battle, but his request was rebuffed due to his age. Willing to gain any advantage, Keshav fabricated a story in which he had received a vision that he would play an important and crucial role in the invasion. With this revelation, the Nova Cat leadership decided to include him and the spirits of the warriors were much lifted by this good omen. However, the invasion ended in disaster and Keshav was blown out of his mech and his combat star obliterated. He went to ground and eventually made contact with the Monkeys. Recognizing his still formidable mechwarrior talents, the Monkeys recruited him into their makeshift new “level II.” It still remains unclear if this situation is temporary or if Keshav intends on staying.

Keshav has a calming demeanor and has begun to teach meditation practices to the other Monkeys. Personally, he places no stock in the visions that other Nova Cat warriors love, but is otherwise deeply spiritual. He is also a vegan into cutting edge healthy eating practices, which he often tries out on other members of the Monkeys, so far with no success.
