Naseeba Jones is the youngest daughter of a minor noble family on Irian that holds major stock in IrTech. As a member of the nobility, she was given a modicum of mech training as a youth. With three older brothers already well-schooled in the martial life, she instead turned her interests to corporate matters. She was on Tharkad concluding a business deal when the Blakists hit and was stranded on the planet for more than two years. Shortly after she finally made it off planet, she learned that her entire family had been killed during the takeover of IrTech by the Word of Blake. With Irian under Blakist control, she had nowhere to turn. When the Monkeys found her at the nadir recharge station on Amity burying her sorrows at the local bar, Jones happily agree to join up on the condition that she could bust some Blakist heads.

Jones’s mech skills were green and rusty when she joined, but under the tutelage of Major Mbeki she has made great strides.
