Jackson is the youngest son of a large and well-established military family in the Federated Suns. As such, it has been his single purpose in life to embarass the family name at every opportunity. Becoming a Solaris VII gladiator sure helped that cause. Jackson hoped that signing up with a mercenary group crewed by a somewhat nutty clanner and having the word “monkey” in its title would also assist in this endeavor.

Jackson is the proverbial class clown and outside of the cockpit his practical jokes are legendary. His most famous caper is arguably the releasing of a rhesus monkey to roam wildly about the Flaming Pineapple. However, this all changes when he dons his neurohelmet, at which point he becomes an intense no-nonsense pilot.
